The lord is worshiped like lndra and otherdemigods by the followers of the three Vedas, who offer Him sacrifices. He isworshiped as impersonal Brahman by saintly persons who understand Hisgreatness through studying the Upaniads, as the purua by great philosopherswho analytically study the universe, as the all-pervading Supersoul bygreat yogis, and as the Supreme Personality of Godhead by devotees.Nevertheless, mother Ya5oda considered the lord her own son.'PURPO RTThis verse is quoted from Srimad-Bhagavatam (1 0.8.45).
