Text 165] The Lord Instructs Srila Rupa Gosvami 347achievements of the yogis are the eight material perfections such as at:Hma,laghima and prapti. Yet these are nothing compared to the eternal bliss of thedevotee who returns back to Godhead and tastes the fruit of devotional serviceto the lotus feet of the Lord. The material perfections up to the point of liberationare very insignificant in comparison; therefore the pure devotee is never interestedin such things. His only interest is in perfecting his devotional service tothe Lord. The pleasure of the impersonalist monist philosophers is condemned inthe following verse, which is also found in Srila ROpa Gosvami's Lalita-madhava.TEXT 1651 f'!f-f
