330 Sri Caitanya-caritamrta [Madhya-lila, Ch. 19desireless, for they desire yogic perfections in order to exhibit some magical featsand gain popularity. People gather around these yogis, and the yogis desire moreand more adulation. Because they misuse their mystic power, they fall down againonto the material platform. It is not possible for them to become nikama, desireless.The conclusion is that only the devotees who are simply satisfied in serving theLord can actually become desireless.
