Text 102]The lord's Visit to Sri Vrndavana181krl)a kene darasana dibe kali-kale?nija-bhrame murkha-loka kare kolahaleSYNONYMSkrl)a-Lord Krr:Ja; kene-why; darasana-interview; dibe-would give; kalikale-inthis age of Kali; nija-bhrame-by their own mistake; murkha-lokafoolishpersons; kare kolahale-make a chaotic tumult.TRANSLATION"Why will Kr;a appear in the age of Kali 1 Foolish people who are mistakenare simply causing agitation and making a tumult.PURPORTSri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's first statement (k[l)a kene darasana dibe kali-ka/e)refers to the scriptures. According to scripture, Krr:Ja appears in Dvapara-yuga,but He never appears as Himself in Kali-yuga. Rather, He appears in Kali-yuga in acovered form. As stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam (11.5.32): krl)a-varl)arhtviakrl)arh sangoparigastra-paradam. Krr:Ja appears in the age of Kali in the garbof a devotee, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who always associates with His internalsoldiers-Sri Advaita Prabhu, Sri Nityananda Prabhu, Srivasa Prabhu andGadadhara Prabhu. Although Balabhadra Bhanacarya was personally serving LordKrr:Ja in His role as a devotee (Caitanya Mahaprabhu), he mistook Lord Krr:Ja foran ordinary man and an ordinary man for Lord Krr:Ja because he did not follow therules set down by sastra and guru.TEXT 102'itt' i!i , t11' 1f I'• ' liRIIIf
