180 Sri Caitanya-caritamrta [Madhya-lila, Ch. 18in the lake as Krr:Ja. One must see things as they are through the mercy of aspiritual master; otherwise if one tries to see Krr:Ja directly, he may mistake anordinary man for Krr:Ja or Krr:Ja for an ordinary man. Everyone has to see Krr:Ja accordingto the verdict of Vedic literatures presented by the self-realized spiritualmaster. A sincere person is able to see Krr:Ja through the transparent via mediumof SrT Gurudeva, the spiritual master. Unless one is enlightened by the knowledgegiven by the spiritual master, he cannot see things as they are, even though heremains constantly with the spiritual master. He wanted to see Krr:Ja directly by going to KaiTya-daha, but SrT CaitanyaMahaprabhu, being the original spiritual master, would not allow His servant tofall into such foolishness.
