In fact, the need toestablish such institutions was one <strong>of</strong> the recommendations <strong>of</strong> the JusticeAhmadi Committee in 1994. <strong>The</strong>se institutions, in each State, todayproject an image <strong>of</strong> excellence in legal education. (Unfortunately, most <strong>of</strong>these students are taking up jobs in big companies and only a few amongthem are coming to the Bar. May be, corporates also need some welltrained personnel or else, otherwise the companies may go outside <strong>India</strong> forexpert legal advice. But, most <strong>of</strong> these law graduates must be persuaded tocome to the bar). We cannot, however, rest content with a few starcolleges. We must be concerned with all the rest <strong>of</strong> the hundreds <strong>of</strong> law
