About three percent of women (one-third of users) are usingperiodic abstinence and another three percent are using the pill. The condom is the next most widely usedmethod, with just over one percent of women relying on it. Other methods such as injection, IUD,withdrawal, and vaginal methods are relied on by fewer than one percent of women. Figure 4.1 shows therapid drop-off in knowledge of methods, knowledge of a source, ever use, and current use of familyplanning among married women.31
