Guidelines <strong>of</strong> the Department <strong>of</strong> Disinvestment2.9.1 Applicants requi<strong>ring</strong> any clarification on the RFQ may notifythe Authority in writing or by fax and e-mail in accordance withClause 1.2.11. They should send in their queries be<strong>for</strong>e the datespecified in the schedule <strong>of</strong> Bidding Process contained inClause 1.3. The Authority shall endeavour to respond to thequeries within the period specified therein, but no later than 10(ten) days prior to the Application Due Date. The responseswill be sent by fax and/or e-mail. RFQ <strong>document</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>development</strong> <strong>of</strong> Four Laning <strong>of</strong> Rewa Ring Road on BOT (Toll + Annuity)basisall the queries and its responses thereto, to all purchasers <strong>of</strong> theRFQ without identifying the source <strong>of</strong> queries.2.9.2 The Authority shall endeavour to respond to the questions raisedor clarifications sought by the Applicants. However, theAuthority reserves the right not to respond to any question orprovide any clarification, in its sole discretion, and nothing inthis Clause shall be taken or read as compelling or requi<strong>ring</strong>the Authority to respond to any question or to provide anyclarification.2.9.3 The Authority may also on its own motion, if deemednecessary, issue interpretations and clarifications to allApplicants. All clarifications and interpretations issued by theAuthority shall be deemed to be part <strong>of</strong> the RFQ. Verbalclarifications and in<strong>for</strong>mation given by Authority or itsemployees or representatives shall not in any way or manner bebinding on the Authority.2.10 Amendment <strong>of</strong> RFQ2.10.1 At any time prior to the deadline <strong>for</strong> submission <strong>of</strong> Application,the Authority may, <strong>for</strong> any reason, whether at its own initiative orin response to clarifications requested by an Applicant, modify theRFQ by the issuance <strong>of</strong> Addenda.2.10.2 Any Addendum thus issued will be sent in writing to allthose who have purchased the RFQ.2.10.3In order to af<strong>for</strong>d the Applicants a reasonable time <strong>for</strong> taking anAddendum into account, or <strong>for</strong> any other reason, the Authoritymay, in its sole discretion, extend the Application Due Date.C.
