See you in Otto at Lunch!Gator boys soccer earns CCS Division III championship-Our 2013 boys varsity soccer squad ended its season as thefirst SHP team to earn a CCS championship for winter soccer! The team tied 1-1 in a hard fought, overtime contest whereboth teams were ultimately declared co-champions. The team was led by head coach Armando Del Rio and assistantcoaches Douglas Hosking, John Vrionis and Rick Holland. Team members are Joe Callinan, Eduardo Carrillo, DerekChou, Grant Chou, Matt Denton, Ricky Grau, Robert Hellman, Willy Lamb, Matthew MacFarquhar, Tommy Meany, WillMishra, Phillip Petrakian, Nick Salzman, Hugo Sanchez, Andrew Segre, Brendan Spillane, Sebi Surraco, Tim Swan,Daniel Thaure, Patrick Tinsley and Daniel Zdeblick. Terrific season, Fellas!Gator girls varsity basketball team CCS Division IV finalist-The 2013 SHP girls varsity basketball team advanced tothe section finals for the first time since 2007 last Friday night. Although the teams was defeated that evening, they’veearned an opportunity to represent our section in the NorCal Tournament beginning this Wednesday. The team record sofar is an impressive 21-9. The team is led by head coach Ann Tafolla and assistant coach Michelle Mendelson. Teammembers are Conner Bennett, Caroline Cummings, Helen Gannon, Riley Hemm, Meghan Holland, Melissa Holland,Jessica Koenig, Jane Meehan, Ma’ata Makoni and Phyllis Tameilau. Good luck in Norcals, Lady Gators!Every child deserves the right to a quality education. Make a difference in the life of a young student today whilegetting your community service hours done.
