Simulator Configuration GuideChapter 9: Using VERA with Synopsys ModelsNoteThe simulator compilation, elaboration, and/or runtime options required tobuild and run a VERA-compatible DWMM simulation can vary dependingon simulation requirements: platform differences, any custom PLI/FPI/CLIcode, your environmental settings, and any third-party tools you integrateinto your simulation. For further information, see your simulator, VERA, orthird-party documentation.Simulator: MTI VHDL1. Make sure MTI VHDL is set up properly and all required environment variables areset, as explained in “Setting Environment Variables” on page 59.2. Modify your environmental library path to include the directory path to your localVERA UDF library, as follows:HP-UX:% setenv SHLIB_PATH dir_path_to_vera_mti.dl:$SHLIB_PATHLinux and Solaris:% setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH dir_path_to_vera_mti.dl:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH3. Map the slm_lib logical library, as shown in the following example:% vlib slm_lib% vmap slm_lib slm_libThis step also creates a modelsim.ini file in the current working directory.4.
