You must use the technology compiler (tc) to compile the technology file that iscreated by the tmg_to_ts utility before using the technology file in QuickSim II.In general, you should run the lm_model utility—which calls both tmg_to_ts and tc—rather than running the stand-alone tmg_to_ts utility. If you just want to update amodel’s Technology File, you can run lm_model with the -Step Timing option. For moreinformation on Technology File creation, refer to “Verifying the Technology File” onpage 174.Syntaxtmg_to_ts input_dir [-Out filename] [-Replace] [-Help] [-Usage] [-Version]Required Argumentsinput_dirSpecifies the pathname to the Shell Software timing files thatyou want to convert. If the input_dir is not a full path, it isassumed to be relative to the current directory, specified by$MGC_WD.Optional Arguments-Out filenameSpecifies an alternative filename for the output file.
