Simulator Configuration GuideChapter 7: Using QuickSim II with Synopsys ModelsRegistering a Model with lm_modelAll hardware models, whether user-created or purchased from Synopsys, must beregistered with the lm_model utility before you can use them in the QuickSim IIsimulation environment. The following list shows the basic steps involved in preparinga hardware model for simulation:1. Running the lm_model Utility, discussed next.2. Checking the Transcript for any errors or warnings.3. Editing the Symbol to meet any additional symbol conventions (optional).4.
