Chapter 7: Using QuickSim II with Synopsys ModelsSimulator Configuration GuideEditing PropertiesAdding or changing the value of any DWMM model property causes the simulator toreevaluate that property and initialize the model to its power-up state.Use the following menu selections to change a property:●●●Edit > Properties > AddEdit > Properties > ChangeEdit > PropertiesChanging Timing ModesDWMM models support minimum, typical, and maximum timing modes. Use thefollowing menu selection to change the timing mode of specific model instances:Setup > Kernel > Change > Timing ModeUnit-delay mode is supported through the model’s TimingVersion property (though notthrough the timing mode value). To enable a DWMM model to run in unit-delay mode, change the model’s TimingVersion property value to “none”.Constraint CheckingDWMM models use the MessageLevel property to enable or disable timing constraintchecking (such as setup and hold):● To enable constraint checking, set bit 2 of the MessageLevel property value to 1.● To disable constraint checking, set bit 2 to 0.162 Synopsys, Inc.
