Each of these symbolsincludes only the pins used for simulating that model.DWMM symbols are not intended to represent actual physical device packages. If yourequire customized, package-specific symbols, you will need to create them yourself:see “DWMM Custom Symbols” on page 163.NoteFor information about symbol compatibility with different versions of theDesign Architect software, see the SmartModel Library Release Notes.DWMM Symbol PropertiesAssigning specific values to symbol properties completes the definition of a DWMMmodel for QuickSim. The properties used on the DWMM symbols provided for theMentor Graphics Design Architect environment include the following:●●●Symbol properties for DWMM parameters (used to configure the model).Symbol properties required for simulation (required to enable simulation underQuickSim II).Optional symbol properties (provided for compatibility with many optionalSmartModel properties).You can edit symbol property values with the Schematic Editor pop-up menu, or byusing the QuickSim II CHANGE TEXT VALUE command.The properties are hidden or visible as controlled by the visibility attributes set by yourlibrary manager.
