Italso puts <strong>for</strong>thachievements<strong>of</strong> students andstaff. <strong>Cummins</strong><strong>College</strong> isprogressing every year. In July 2012 Naonal assessmentand accreditaon council visited college <strong>for</strong> accreditaon.Accreditaon criteria were Infrastructure, teachinglearning process, students’ per<strong>for</strong>mance, extracurricularacvies etc. On the basis <strong>of</strong> these Criteria <strong>College</strong>received “A” grade.<strong>College</strong> has been awarded IBM shared universityresearch grant. This grant will enable us to take cloudcompung projects with the help <strong>of</strong> IBM. Our teamparcipated first me in Baja compeon and showedvery good per<strong>for</strong>mance. Students <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cummins</strong> won“Purshoam Maha- Karandak” . <strong>Cummins</strong> CSI branchgot best chapter award. Details <strong>of</strong> these and many moreachievements <strong>of</strong> students and staff you will find in Kshij.Our Alumnae are also doing well , they are working inmulnaonal reputed companies at higher level. Theyhave built good reputaon <strong>of</strong> the college.Now days there are many opportunies <strong>for</strong> engineers.At the same me there are challenges too. Compeveenvironment demands technical skills along withconceptual clarity. Good communicaon skill has becomeimportant <strong>for</strong> all types <strong>of</strong> work pr<strong>of</strong>iles. EATON in associaon with CII conductedthe Garnishing Talent Program <strong>for</strong> third year students.This year we have iniated English language training <strong>for</strong>second year students. To develop the overall personality<strong>of</strong> students, cultural and sports acvies are encouraged.The NSS team has brought about a lot <strong>of</strong> socialawareness through various acvies like flash mobs,lectures, blood donaon camp & visits to orphanages.But the high point <strong>of</strong> the year were the talks deliveredby renowned social worker Smt.
