RULE 11SUBMISSION OF AN ENTRY(a)(b)(c)(d)(e)The Licensee may impose a registration fee payable by a Player or a Syndicate Player forthe provision by the Licensee of the player registration service. Application will be byway of an application form as approved by the Chief Executive Officer.A person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall not enter a Game of Pools or a Gameof Promotional Pools.An Entry or Automatic Entry may only be made through the Licensee or a Retailer.The correct Selling Fee or Syndicate Share Fee and player registration fee (if applicable)must be paid by a Player or Syndicate Player to a Retailer or to the Licensee in respect ofan Entry or Syndicate Share;The form of payment of the Selling Fee or Syndicate Share Fee or player registration fee(if applicable) must be acceptable to the Chief Executive Officer.(f)(i)(ii)If anonymity is desired the Player or Syndicate Player should clearly soindicate on the appropriate Prize claim or indicate same when completingapplication to become a Registered Player or Registered Syndicate Player.Players or Syndicate Players who subsequently desire anonymity should applyin writing to the Chief Executive Officer prior to the publication of the Player'sor Syndicate Player's name and address pursuant to the provisions of Rule13(b)(i) and if in the opinion of the Chief Executive Officer sufficient time isavailable to prevent publication then the Chief Executive Officer may grantsuch application and withhold publication;All correspondence to the Chief Executive Officer in accordance with Rule11(f)(i) should be addressed:The Chief Executive OfficerNew South Wales Lotteries2 Figtree DriveSYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK NSW 2127or such other address as may be publicly notified from time to time by theChief Executive Officer.(g)(h)(i)All marks and other written notations appearing on an Entry Coupon are taken to bemade or given exclusively by the Player in respect of an Entry.Where a Player submits an Entry Coupon or other form of Entry, or in the case of aSyndicate Entry, where a Syndicate Player purchases a Syndicate Share, as trustee,representative or nominee for another person or persons, the Licensee will be taken tohave no knowledge, nor to be on notice whether actual or constructive, of any sucharrangement and the transaction will be conducted solely with the Player or SyndicatePlayer.An Entry Coupon or Automatic Entry instructions must be received by the Licensee or aRetailer in sufficient time to be processed before the close of acceptance of Entries intoSoccer Football Pools Rules | Issue No.: 5.1| Effective: 30 November 2012 Page 24 of 44
the Game of Pools relating to that Entry or Syndicate Share. For the purposes of thisparagraph an Entry or Syndicate Share will be taken to be received when details thereofhave been recorded on the central processing computer equipment held by the Licenseeand the Ticket has issued from a Computer Linked Terminal.(j)(k)Other than as provided for in Rule 6(i), no Ticket may be withdrawn or altered afterissue to a Player or Syndicate Player without the consent of the Licensee.Form of entry in a Game of Promotional Pools(i)(ii)The Chief Executive Officer is to approve the form of entry for a Game ofPromotional Pools;Without limiting Rule 11(k)(i), the form of entry in a Game of PromotionalPools may be any of the following (or combination of the following):(1) part of a Ticket;(2) any other ticket or document;(3) entries made by means of an electronic or mechanical device or bytelecommunications system.(l)If any entry in a Game of Promotional Pools is to consist of a ticket, part of a Ticket ordocument, such ticket, part of a Ticket or document issued to an entrant in a Game ofPromotional Pools:(iii)(iv)(v)constitutes the Player's or Syndicate Player's official receipt;is, following its acceptance, to constitute the Player's or Syndicate Player'sacknowledgment of the details on the entry, and acknowledgment that thosedetails are correct; andis to be the only document issued by the Licensee, its Retailers to the entrantevidencing the processing of an entry in the Game of Promotional Pools.Soccer Football Pools Rules | Issue No.: 5.1| Effective: 30 November 2012 Page 25 of 44
