Market
In 2010, the company strategies referring to trading policy
focused on optimizing and boosting trade flows of raw material
purchases and product sales. Crude acquisitions were exclusively
carried out by the group trader, Vector Energy, who took over
the most part of gasoline and diesel volumes sold on foreign
markets. The quality of the products sold by Rompetrol met
the requirements and standards for quality and environment in
force within European Union and led to a stronger position of
the company on the international oil markets.
The sales in 2010 were lower than in 2009, mainly due o
a longer period of turnaround and also due to the global
economical crisis.
