PR and Recruitment - Jude Langhurst reported that Connie was veryhelpful to this committee in looking at how other groups attract people. TheCEO is very difficult to attract. Collaborators will be asked to contact VIP's inthe corporate world whom they know and ask the VIP's to contact their peers inmanufacturing, finance, health, and legal services.For names of religious leaders, the committee will ask Inter-Faith Ministries.The committee also hopes to get some help from Carol Rupe whose husband isthe current president of United Way, which has an established "loaned exec"program.Jude asked the program committee to keep the legislative calendar in mind whenplanning dates for the CWVP.The committee already has some ideas about stationery.permission to use the Children's Defense Fund logo.They are seekingPatty said that the names of corporate, elected, and religious leaders turned in atthe last meeting will be given to the PR committee and that any other suggestionsshould be given to Jude.C. Logistics - Ellen Myers reported that much of the work of this committee cannotbe accomplished until we know the date and size of the group going through theCWVP. The committee has a list of possible sites for the training and ofagencies and businesses to contact regarding transportation.Jane Murphy volunteered to investigate setting up a bookkeeping system forCWVP.14
