We touredSilver Spring Netghborhood Center, a comprehensive health and socialservice agency providing an array of preventive programs for all ages,including a Family Resource Center, and visited Rosalie Manor, leadagency tor a County-wide collaborative project to provide support to FirstTIme Parents, .We hope you leamed more about critical concerns facing children andfamilies in Milwaukee and are interested in focusing some of your timeon "children's issues" and helpful legislation,Enclosed is the check list of "Things You Can Do" which Anne Arnesenprepared and distributed at the wrap-up discussion on October 22, Thesestate bUdget and legislative initiatives all merit watching and will needadvocacy in order to begin (or expand).
