Jesus brings Lazarus back to life.John 11:1-44Some men ran to Jesus. “Your friend, Lazarus, is very sick. Pleasecome and heal him.” Jesus wanted to help Lazarus. But instead ofgoing right away to see Lazarus, Jesus waited. Then Jesus told Hisfriends, “Let’s go see Lazarus.”Jesus and His friends walked a long way. They finally got to the placewhere Lazarus lived. Lazarus’s sister Martha went out to meet Jesus.“Oh, Jesus,” she said, “if you had been here my brother would nothave died!” Martha, her sister Mary and many other people were sosad because Lazarus had died. Many of them were crying. Jesus sawall the sad people and He started to cry too.Jesus and all the people went to the tomb where they put Lazarus’sbody. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”Jesus prayed.
