Graduate (300-level) courses inbiology may be taken if approved by the dean and department.Biology 61, 62, 109, 166, 194, 209A, and 309A do not satisfy the required 15hours of electives in biology. They can serve as general electives.Honors ProgramA departmental Honors Program for qualified students provides the opportunity todo independent research. To be eligible, a student must have a 3.4 overall averageand the approval of the departmental honors faculty.
