The test was conducted under fixed conditions,<strong>an</strong>d the results evaluated should be comparable with regard to the differencesbetween the detergents tested.Wash perform<strong>an</strong>ce <strong>of</strong> detergents for white textilesDetergent types A <strong>an</strong>d B are compacts <strong>an</strong>d traditional detergents (respectively)which are specifically designed to keep textiles white. Thus we callthem detergents for white textiles. Results are shown <strong>in</strong> table 3-8.Greece <strong>an</strong>d Spa<strong>in</strong> seem to have the detergents for white textiles with highestwash perform<strong>an</strong>ce. Both countries are known to use traditional detergentsmost commonly, <strong>an</strong>d it is <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g to see that the Sp<strong>an</strong>ish traditional detergenttested has a better wash perform<strong>an</strong>ce th<strong>an</strong> the compact detergent tested.This is probably the reason why Sp<strong>an</strong>ish consumers choose traditional detergents<strong>in</strong>stead <strong>of</strong> compacts, presum<strong>in</strong>g that this is true <strong>in</strong> general for these two
