The program, which is open to the public, isorganized by Hebraica’s School of Madrichim, and will be held at the AventuraTurnberry <strong>Jewish</strong> Center.Israel Cinema Nights (Meets Bi-monthly, beginning in October)Contemporary Israeli film is brought to the big screen on a bi-monthly basis, providing a glimpse into Israeli society andculture. Screenings are at the Frank Theaters Intracoastal – films with English subtitles. Tickets: $10 - Screenings are at8pm. The first film of the new program year will be on Thursday, October 18, featuring the highly acclaimed MABUL.ShinshinimOur connection to our Partnership 2000 City of Yerucham is re-en<strong>for</strong>ced through the presence oftwo “shin-shins” – post high school age young adults who bring with them the flavor of Israel andthe Zionist spirit of Yerucham. Through their work in <strong>Jewish</strong> day schools, Hebrew schools, with <strong>Jewish</strong>youth groups, and with other <strong>Jewish</strong> organizations, they strengthen the bonds that tie our twocommunities together. In October, we will welcome Smadar Levi Hevroni and Gil Lustig, who willreplace this past year’s “shinshins” – Ido Abargel and Mor Melker.“With the support of the Miami-Dade CountyDepartment of Cultural Affairs and the CulturalAffairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayorand Board of County Commissioners.”-28-
