<strong>In</strong>ternship & <strong>Vol</strong>unteer Community FairThe Career Services Center hosted the first annual <strong>In</strong>ternship & <strong>Vol</strong>unteer Community Fairwhich was held at <strong>Skyline</strong> <strong>College</strong> on Wednesday <strong>October</strong> 17, <strong>2012</strong>, with more than 40participating organizations and 75 community service representatives. These organizationsrepresented paid and non-paid internship and volunteer positions in Communications, Business,Education/Human Services, Allied Health/Medicine, Law and Technology/Science.Some of the 40 participating companies included NASA Ames Research Center, California StateParks, Ameriprise Financial, AmeriCorps VISTA, Daly City Partnership, Galleria de la Raza,Habitat for Humanity, San Bruno Public Homework Center, San Bruno Chamber of Commerce,Sierra Club, Tout About Toys <strong>In</strong>c., Univision Television & Radio and many more. Over 400students participated throughout the day to gain valuable work experience connections as theyexplored available internship/volunteer opportunities.9
