Surgical Procedure: Immediate SmileThis document describes the procedure which can provide your patient with an ImmediateSmile. Different options are available and described, from easy step-by-step methods basedon the SurgiGuide technology to the high-end solutions, based on the SAFE Systemaccuracy. These guidelines should not be seen as an exhaustive listing of all the steps tofollow, however, it should serve as a foundation to create your own procedure. Based on your SimPlant treatment plant, atemporary prosthesis can be prepared beforehand, and delivered on the day of surgery.It is essential for the success of your ‘Immediate Smile’ treatment that the positions of theintended implants are known by your dental laboratory in advance. After surgery, adapting theprosthesis to the implants will resolve all residual errors introduced by the whole treatmentprocedure, resulting in an Immediate Smile for your patient.SURGICAL PROCEDURESThis guideline only indicates the different steps needed when an Immediate Smile procedurehas already been chosen as a solution for your patient.
