Check drilling tubesCheck carefully if the drilling tubes are easily screwable into the tubes incorporated in theSurgiGuide. For ease of handling, it may be necessary to use an instrument such as forceps, pince, orpliers to transfer the drilling tubes during surgery. It might also be useful to secure the drillingtubes using a small thread around the collar of the tubes in case they may loosen and fall intothe throat of the patient.3. Check drillsCheck if the drills to be used will pass easily through the drilling tubes until the level of thephysical stop. Also check to see if the depth of the osteotomies to be created and themeasures you have taken for mucosa thickness or other important parameters is realisticcompared to your planned implant length. If there is any doubt about the correct transfer ofthe implant depth, it is recommended to use your standard procedure for controlling thedepth of the implant sites, and not to rely on the physical stops of the drills.SURGICAL PROCEDURES4.
