REGENTS’ POLICY MANUALSECTION 6—ATHLETICS6.2—ATHLETICS DEPARTMENTIntercollegiate athletics activities shall be designated as an auxiliary enterprise <strong>of</strong> the University,under the title “Athletics Department.”All financial activities <strong>of</strong> the Athletics Department, including ticket sales, accounting, budgetpreparations, purchasing, and payroll, shall be under the management <strong>of</strong> an Athletics Business Manager.In addition, all financial areas <strong>of</strong> the business <strong>of</strong>fice and ticket <strong>of</strong>fice shall follow University policies andprocedures as outlined in the Administrative Affairs Guide to Services.The Athletics Business Manager shall report to the Director <strong>of</strong> Athletics and be responsible forgeneral duties in planning and executing the business aspects <strong>of</strong> the intercollegiate athletics program.The Director <strong>of</strong> Athletics shall be responsible to the President for all phases <strong>of</strong> intercollegiateathletics, including business management.(RM, 3-8-50, pp. 3425-26; 12-02-03, p. 28868)6.2.1—CONCESSIONSThe Director shall be responsible for operation <strong>of</strong> concessions and merchandise sales at all athleticsevents and in surrounding areas.
