REGENTS’ POLICY MANUALSECTION 5—UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY5.12—STUDENT PUBLICATIONSStudent Media is designated as an auxiliary enterprise of the University.All income from Student Media shall be deposited in the Controller’s Office in appropriate officialdepository accounts, in accordance with the University’s general policies for handling funds of auxiliaryenterprises.The business operations of Student Media are subject to the same administrative supervision asbusiness activities of other auxiliary enterprises of the University.The relations of Student Media to the instructional function of the University, particularly withrespect to the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, are subject to the sameadministrative supervision as other organized activities or auxiliary enterprises related to the instructionalfunction of the University.(RM, 2-13-52, p. 4247; 12-02-03, p. 28868)THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA 282
