REGENTS’ POLICY MANUALSECTION 5—UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY5.2—FRATERNITIES AND SORORITIES5.2.1—MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENTPANHELLENIC ASSOCIATIONFormal membership recruitment for the organizations <strong>of</strong> the Panhellenic Association shall be heldbefore the start <strong>of</strong> the Fall semester. The Panhellenic Association shall follow the recruitment guidelinesand “Unanimous Agreements” <strong>of</strong> the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Chapter size shall bebased on the “Quota-Total” system recommended by NPC and used in combination with the “PreferentialBidding System” and “Continuous Open Bidding.” The Panhellenic Association may exceed the 5%NPC recommendation <strong>of</strong> “Quota Additions.”INTERFRATERNITY COUNCILFormal membership recruitment for the organizations <strong>of</strong> the Interfraternity Council shall take placeduring the first week <strong>of</strong> the Fall and the third week <strong>of</strong> the Spring semesters. Open membershiprecruitment may take place throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.NATIONAL PAN-HELLENIC COUNCILMembership intake for the organizations <strong>of</strong> the National Pan-Hellenic Council shall take place duringthe Fall and/or Spring semesters at the discretion <strong>of</strong> the individual organizations. Guidelines andregulations <strong>of</strong> the National Pan-Hellenic Council shall be followed.LATINO GREEK COUNCILMembership recruitment for the Latino Greek Council will take place between the second and thirdweeks <strong>of</strong> each the Fall and Spring semester.
