REGENTS’ POLICY MANUALSECTION 4—FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT4.9—PARKING AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONSThe Board of Regents has determined that it is in the best interests of the University that rules andregulations be promulgated and adopted governing the keeping and use of automobiles by Universityemployees and students, providing parking areas for the employees, students and visitors of theUniversity, and providing a method of carrying such rules and regulations into effect and the enforcementthereof. The applicable portion of these regulations shall apply to every employee of the University, andthe portions applicable to students shall be deemed a part of the established regulations of the Universitywhich that govern every student.For the accomplishment of the above purposes, the rules and regulations stated herein have beenadopted by the Board of Regents, to be effective beginning with the fall semester, 1978.The President may revise, alter, or amend these regulations when conditions warrant. Suchamendments, revisions, or alterations shall, unless otherwise ruled by the Board of Regents, be effectiveand of the same dignity as if enacted or ordered by the Board of Regents.
