The Chair declared themotion unanimously approved.POLICY MANUAL REVISIONSThe Board <strong>of</strong> Regents approved revisions to the Policy Manual at the December 2003and January <strong>2004</strong> meetings. Since then, Legal Counsel has reviewed the Manual andrecommended a number <strong>of</strong> additional revisions. The revisions were provided at the meeting, andare attached in strikethrough and underline format as Exhibit C.President Boren recommended the Board <strong>of</strong> Regents approve the revised BoardPolicy Manual.Regent Everest moved approval <strong>of</strong> the recommendation. The following voted yes onthe motion: Regents Everest, Clark, Stuart, Weitzenh<strong>of</strong>fer and Wade. The Chair declared themotion unanimously approved.APPOINTMENT OF COLLEGE OF MEDICINE ADMISSIONS BOARD - (HSC)Regents' policy provides that the Admissions Board <strong>of</strong> the College <strong>of</strong> Medicine iscomposed <strong>of</strong>:10 members <strong>of</strong> the full-time faculty10 members <strong>of</strong> the volunteer faculty10 members <strong>of</strong> the student body <strong>of</strong> the College <strong>of</strong> Medicine20 members selected from throughout the State to include four physicians from each <strong>of</strong>the five Congressional DistrictsThe slate <strong>of</strong> nominees for <strong>2004</strong>-2005 is attached. The community physician nomineesfor the five congressional districts were solicited from the Oklahoma State Medical Association. Allnominees have agreed to serve and are willing to participate in an orientation meeting. There is analternate list to accommodate any attrition or interview needs during the year. The nominationshave been approved by the Executive Dean <strong>of</strong> the College <strong>of</strong> Medicine and the Senior VicePresident and Provost.
