Accordingly, analytics at work is aboutimproving performance and precision in key businessdomains and research using data and analysis. This programme helps the participants to understandpatterns in data by means of predictive modeling techniquessuch as Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) and StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM) that are critical to decisionmaking. MRA is a first generation predictive technique thatmodels the relationship between one dependent variable andmultiple independent variables and SEM is a secondgeneration technique that models simultaneous analysisbetween multiple independent and dependent variables. Also, this programme covers exploratory techniques built onalgorithms to discover tendencies in the data such asExploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) & Confirmatory FactorAnalysis (CFA).The pedagogy is an optimum mix of lectures, cases andclassroom discussions. Hands-on experience in MRA andEFA using Statistical Package for Social Science 20 (SPSS)and SEM and CFA using Analysis of Moment Structures 19(AMOS) will be given.Who can attendBusiness analysts, consultants, researchers and teachingfaculty in business management, economics, commerce, agriculture, biology, sociology, psychology, populationstudies etc., can attend.Use of data and analysis in decision making is sometimesthought of as esoteric, however contrarily, the growingimportance of data and analysis is largely due to its ease ofuse.
