Place a dial gauge to the side face of theLM block on the subsidiary rail from the dialstand fixed on the table top, then fasten thebolts in order while achieving parallelism of thesubsidiary LM rail by moving the table from therail end. (Fig.11)•Having the Subsidiary LM Rail Follow the Master LM RailPlace the table on the blocks of the correctlymounted master LM rail and the temporarily fastenedsubsidiary LM rail, and fully fasten the twoLM blocks on the master rail and one of the twoLM blocks on the subsidiary rail with bolts. Fullytighten the mounting bolts on the subsidiary LMrail in order while temporarily fastening theremaining LM block on the subsidiary LM rail.(Fig.12)•Using a JigUse a jig like the one shown in Fig.13 to achieveparallelism of the reference surface on the subsidiaryside against the side reference surface ofthe master side from one end of the rail by themounting pitch, and at the same time, fully fastenthe mounting bolts in order.
