Pro Bono<strong>Latham</strong> & <strong>Watkins</strong> plays a leading rolein addressing the unmet legal needsof the poor and disadvantaged in ourcommunities. Our attorneys, summerassociates, paralegals and professionalstaff provide free legal services to lowincomeindividuals as well as organizationsaddressing the needs of the poor andnonprofit community organizations lackingthe ability to pay. Through the thousandsof hours we dedicate to pro bono, <strong>Latham</strong>makes public interest work an integral partof our practice of law.With more than 2,000 attorneys, summerassociates, paralegals and professionalstaff in 25 offices across 13 countriesparticipating in our program, <strong>Latham</strong> &<strong>Watkins</strong> provided approximately 250,000hours of free legal services valued inexcess of US $100 million in <strong>2009</strong>.
