Hat Trick note:<br />
Hat Trick arms are 9-ply and arm<br />
supports are a total of 26-ply for added<br />
strength. Arms may be retrofitted on<br />
armless Hat Trick chair, or removed from<br />
arm version. Easily added or removed<br />
with bolts. Contoured seat constructed of<br />
cross-ply maple for rigidity.<br />
High Sticking note:<br />
Built-in lumbar curve for enhanced back<br />
support. To maximize tension<br />
compression, limited assembly glue is<br />
used in woven seat: weaves flex in unison<br />
for spring-like comfort.<br />
Note:<br />
The underside of each piece is embossed<br />
with the <strong>Knoll</strong> logo and Frank Gehry’s<br />

Construction<br />
Frame:<br />
Constructed of hard white maple veneers<br />
in 2� wide, 1 /34� thick strips on Hat Trick<br />
and High Sticking chair, laminated to 7<br />
to 9-ply thickness with high-bonding<br />
urea glue. All wood grains run in same<br />
direction for resilience. Thermo-set<br />
assembly glue provides structural<br />
rigidity without the need for metal<br />
connectors, while allowing for ergonomic<br />
movement and flexibility. Backs on all<br />
chairs flex for added comfort.<br />
Cushions:<br />

/2� thick high resiliency foam on Hat<br />
Trick. 3 /4� thick high resiliency foam on<br />

‘‘shower cap’’ design envelopes entire<br />
