Construction<br />
Frame:<br />
Welded steel with rods in polished or<br />
satin (421L only) chrome finish or<br />
bonded rilsan, a very durable and<br />
adhesive fused nylon-dipped finish.<br />
Scratch, chip, and chemical resistant.<br />
Stainless steel connections. Four plastic<br />
glides. On all Diamond chairs, the base<br />
wire diameter measures 11mm. The<br />
frame edge wire diameter measures<br />
4.5mm, the interlacements measure 4mm<br />
in diameter.<br />
Upholstery:<br />
Cushion secured to chair with<br />
lock-snaps. Full covers are stretched<br />
over wire frame and attach to seat basket<br />
with hooks. Cushions and covers fit all<br />
Bertoia Diamond <strong>Chairs</strong> manufactured<br />
since 1952 within a limited range of<br />
tolerance.<br />
422L is not available with seat pad<br />
option.<br />
Child’s Diamond Chair:<br />
The Child’s Diamond Chair is 75% scale<br />
of the standard size and is only available<br />
with polished chrome frame.<br />
