Today's carsare safer than ever, however automotive injuriesremain a leading cause of hospitalization and death forpeople up to the age of 44 years in most developedcountries.Theme A focuses on four priority areas of researchthat affect the people who design and build thevehicle, and those who drive and ride in them. Project A03: Industrial Healthand Safety in the Auto Industry, led by Dr. JackCallaghan at the University of Guelph, focuses oninjury prevention in the automotive workplace.
