There are also pay-per-use services such asmassage, personal training, lessons, short-term child care forpotty-trained children, the indoor rock-climbing wall, andhuman-performance lab testing. Membership does not includethe use of the Iles P.E. Center. Members and nonmembersalike will be able to benefit from the center’s many wellnessrelatedclasses.As Southern prepares to open the Hulsey WellnessCenter, it isn’t merely a building whose doors are beingopened. Students who learn and practice healthy livingwithin these walls will have doors opened to a healthierfuture. Likewise, constituents and community members whopartake in the services offered will be opening doors to aGoalCash and PledgesTo Complete$ 14.5 million$ 13.1 million$ 1.4 millionhealthy lifestyle. Thank you for your part in helping openthese doors.Florida Hospital HallAs the final touches are being made to the HulseyWellness Center, footings are being poured for the newnursing building, Florida Hospital Hall. The name of thisbuilding honors an alliance between Southern and FloridaHospital in which the two institutions will work togetherto provide nursing students with educational opportunitiesthat will help smooth the transition between the classroomand the workplace for the more than 500 students pursuingnursing degrees at Southern.This relationship, though new in one sense, has ahistorical foundation.
