Now this effort shall be replicated in the NWFP and Punjab to sustaingrowth.Water and irrigation projects remained our primary focus. Irrigation schemes in Sehwan, Naushehro Firoz,Hyderabad and Larkana were executed with Siemens Vertical Hollow Shaft (VHS) 1PM7 motors. Siemens is wellpositioned to provide solutions to problems related to water and irrigation the off shoot of global mega trends likeurbanization and demographic change.We locally manufacturea wide range of motorsand alternators that arealso exported to theregion. The unit is fulfillingthe growingdemands of these productsas cities becomemegacities and existinginfrastructure requirestimely expansion.Similarly, VHS motors for centrifugal pumps were supplied to the public health engineering departments in Hala& Naushehro Firoz.
