catching glimpses of the glory, honor and immortality beyond theflesh; which hope is an anchor entering into that beyond the vail.Heb. 6:19; and 10:20.We see, then, that justification by faith, brings us into a condition ofpeace with God. Our sins being forgiven, we are a step nearer toGod, but still human--in the Court. If we would attain to the prizeof our high calling which is OF GOD in Christ Jesus, and enter inthrough the "Holy" to the "Most Holy," we must followIN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUSour Leader and Head--"the High Priest of our profession." By faithin his ransom we have entered the "gate" to the Court--the Vail ofunbelief and sin is passed. By renouncing our human will and allour human aspiration and hopes, we pass the first vail, or vail ofhuman mindedness, counting our human will as dead; henceforthnot consulting it, but the will of God only.We now find ourselves as "new creatures" in the "Holy"--in the firstof "the Heavenlies" or Holies (Eph. 2:6. --Diaglott); and here weare enlightened by the Golden Candlestick, (God's Word) refreshedand strengthened daily with the truth as bread lawful only for thePriests to eat. (Matt. 12:4.) And thus enlightened and strengthened,we are daily offering up sacrifices at the "Golden Altar," acceptableto God by Jesus Christ--a sweet perfume to our Father. 1 Pet. 2:5.*Thus, all the saints, the consecrated, are in a "heavenly" or "holy"condition now--"seated (at rest and communion) with Christ in (thefirst of these) heavenly places," but not yet in the Holiest of all. No;another vail must first be passed: As the passing of the precedingvail was the death of the human will, so the passing of the secondvail is the death of the human body; and it requires both tocomplete our sacrifice: Both fleshly mind and fleshly body mustfirst be passed before we shall be in the "Holiest of all"--perfectedas partakers of the Divine nature and conditions. With these thoughts as to the three conditions represented by thesethree places--Camp, Court and Tabernacle, let us notice particularlythe three classes occupying these conditions, viz.: the UnbelievingWorld, Justified Believers and the Saints or Consecrated Believers;typified respectively byISRAELITES, LEVITES AND THE PRIESTHOOD.In understanding the significance of the Tabernacle service, it isnecessary not only to get a clear idea of the structure, its furnitureand their typical signification, but also of the actors and theirsignificance as types.Israel is used in many instances to typify the Christian Church. Forinstance: When they left Egyptian bondage, they were a type ofGod's children who hear his call to come out from the world andengage in his worship.
