They may only be used for the intendedapplications under the specified ambient conditions.1.1 Validity and Current VersionVersion Rev.2.0 This revision of the safety manual must be used from Version V2. ofthe <strong>HIMax</strong> System.The most current version of the <strong>Safety</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>, indicated by the highest version number, isapplicable and valid. The most current version is available on the HIMA Homepage .1.2 Objectives of the <strong>Manual</strong>This manual contains information on how to operate the <strong>HIMax</strong> safety-related automationdevice in the intended manner. It provides an introduction to the safety concept of the<strong>HIMax</strong> system and should increase the reader's safety awareness.The <strong>Safety</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> is based upon the contents of the certificate and of the test report forthe certificate.1.3 Target AudienceThis manual addresses system planners, configuration engineers, programmers ofautomation devices and personnel authorized to start up, operate and maintain the devicesand systems.
