Eldon MultiCOM ®Outdoor Aluminumfl oor standing enclosuresThe MultiCOM range of Aluminum fl oor standing enclosures comprises:Single and Multiple door versions.Single and double wall versions.Standard dimensions ranging from 1200 x 600 x 400 mm up to 1400 x 1800 x 500 mm or 1200x1200x600.The rear panel is manufactured using 2mm AluminumAlMg3 sheet and is screw fastened frominside. The rear panel can be replaced by a plaindoor. Easy one man fi tting is part of the integratedsystem.The bottom of the enclosure is designed with a largeopening and can be covered with three removableand interchangeable cable entry plates, made ofSendzimir zinc-plated 1.0 mm sheet steel or withone removable single piece plate, made of 2mmAluminum AlMg3 (Accessory).Technical InformationThe symmetrical design is based on the EldonEKSS frame, manufactured from 2mm AluminumAlMg3 sheet and seam-welded. The manufacturingconcept gives the frame a high rigidity andmakes the enclosure particularly strong with agreat resistance to warping and deformation.The required rigidity is assured by a 60 degreeangle in the frame flange which is folded four times.This assures strength in all directions.The frame is perforated with a network of round(diam 4.3mm) and square (10 x 14mm) holes,alternated on a pitch of 25mm allowing fast timesaving installation of accessories.The frame in Multiple door versions, is divided intoindividual modules by means of vertical dividers(Modularity)Double Wall versions: The Inner housing is providedwith an external wall constructed at a distance.An air cavity is contained between these. Thisinterposing space has top and bottom ventilationopenings, allowing air fl ow.The door is manufactured using 2mm AluminumAlMg3 sheet. Concealed hinges allow the doorto be opened to 130°. Multiple door version hasindividual lockable doors following the modularityconcept.The standard swing handle with security lock,moves a espagnolette lock system with multiplelocking points.In the double wall version,the door has an externalshell with top and bottom ventilation gridsallowing air fl ow.In the single wall version, the door is provided witha frame with holes on a 25m pitch. This framegives the door extra rigidity.A special continuous polyurethane seal assuresthe IP 66 - IP 55 of protection.The enclosures are protected with powder paintRAL7035 100% Polyester powder coating withstructured fi nish.All panels are directly earthed to the enclosureframe by their fi ttings or an extra fi tting clip.The mounting plate is delivered as an accessory.Fitted with sliding brackets, the mounting platerests directly onto the enclosure frame for maximumweight support.The sliding brackets allow an easy installationand depth adjustment but do not interfere withthe bottom cable entry space. The position ofthe mounting plate in the maximum depth of theenclosure is standard and the use of twooppositemounting plates is possible. The same mountingplate can be mounted in the side of the enclosureby using the accessory kit (MPS04).The enclosure offers maximum protection to theuser and equipment thanks to the high protectiondegree IP 66 - IP 55 - IK 10 according to lEC 60529,EN 60529 & EN 62208.252
