39. During the Promotion Period two types of prizes will be awarded: the Daily Prizes andthe Grand Draw Prizes.40. The Daily Prizes will be awarded to fifty (50) daily winners and each winner will receiveJMD $500 in Digicel call credit.41. The Grand Draw Prizes will be awarded to five (5) winners and each winner will receiveJMD $1,000,000 cash prize.42. To be eligible for the Promotion, for both the Daily Prize and the Grand Prize draws,Customers must top up with qualifying credit or accumulate qualifying talk time asfollows (“Qualifying Customers’):a. For Pre-Paid Customers –- Qualifying Customers will receive one (1) entry foreach top up with vouchers valued at JMD$200.00 or more (or cumulative in suchvalue within one 24 hour calendar day) during the Promotional Period – eachsuch entry will be valid for both the Daily Prize draw and the Grand Prize draws;b. For Postpaid Customers – Qualifying Customers will receive one (1) entry forevery twenty (20) minutes of talk time accumulated per calendar day during thePromotional Period. Each qualifying entry will be valid in relation to both theDaily Prize and Grand Prize draws.43. All Qualifying Customers who qualify and are eligible for participation and entry in thePromotion will be notified by SMS of their qualification entry and shall be entered intothe applicable Daily Prize draw and applicable Grand Prize draw.44. Pre-paid Customers may top-up using any of Digicel Jamaica’s recharge methods.45. Credit U does not qualify as a recharge method.46. Postpaid customers will receive one (1) entry for every twenty (20) minutes ofaccumulated talk time.47. Calls by Postpaid customers to their VIP partner(s) or destinations included in their‘International Call plans’ are eligible for accumulated talk time.48. Digicel to Digicel calls, Digicel to Fixed Line, Digicel to other Mobile providers and Digicelto International numbers qualify for accumulated talk-time for Postpaid subscribers.49. Postpaid customers must have no monies outstanding to Digicel for their entries to bevalid.50. Daily Prizes will be assessed on the qualifying entries received during the course of eachdaily qualifying period (expiring at 11:59pm each day) during the Promotional Period.Digicel shall randomly select 100 Qualifying Customers who qualified the day before forthe daily prize draw and from that selection Digicel Customer Care shall call suchCustomers on the following day and the first fifty (50) Customers called who correctlyquote the Digicel tagline will be determined as the winners of such Daily Draw.51. Qualifying Customers who are called must correctly state the Digicel tagline i.e.:“Jamaica’s Bigger Better Network “or “The Bigger Better Network” when contacted inrelation to any of the Daily Prize or Grand Prize Draws in order to be eligible to win thestated prize.52. Three attempts will be made to contact each Customer that is chosen. If the call isunanswered then the attempt has failed. Failed attempts include calls where the phonerings without an answer, calls that go to the voicemail, calls where the phone is busy or
if the phone is turned off. If all three (3) attempts fail, then another potential winner isselected.53. There will be a Daily Prize draws each day of the Promotional Period and there will be aGrand Prize draw on April 1st, 201054. Potential Winners of the daily prize will be contacted the following day except forwinners chosen for Saturday’s draw. These Customers will be contacted on the followingMonday.55. Winning customers have up to two (2) weeks after being notified that they have won tocollect their prizes.56. Postpaid Customers who win one of the daily prizes of $500 free credit will have thecredit applied to their accounts within three (3) working days.57. Calls to Voicemail, Emergency Numbers, and to Digicel Customer Care do not qualify forthis Promotion.58. To qualify for the Promotion, Customers must make these calls in Jamaica.59. The Promotion does not apply whilst roaming.60. Once a Customer meets the criteria detailed above, the Customer’s details are enteredinto both the Daily and Grand Prize draws as may be applicable from which the winnersare chosen.61. All winners of cash prizes must present the Digicel phone and sim card which made thequalifying calls, along with valid national photographic identification to claim prizes.62. Minors are eligible for this element of the Promotion but must be accompanied by aparent or guardian when redeeming their prize.63. Digicel employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies,advertising, promotion and public relations agencies, dealers, distributors, or anyoneelse connected with the Promotion and their immediate family members and householdmembers are not eligible for entry to the Promotion. For these purposes immediatefamily members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.64. Winners of the Promotion will be required to participate in any planned publicity inconnection with this element of the Promotion and by entering the Promotion, the prizewinners consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and allprogramming and/or publicity promotion or advertising purposes, commercial orotherwise, in all media and formats used by us or our agencies, without furthercompensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so,they forfeit their right to claim the prize.General Terms that apply to the Promotion65. References to ‘chargeable’ and/or ‘billable’ calls or texts for the purpose of satisfyingthe eligibility and qualification requirements for any of the elements of this Promotiondoes not include the use of the following forms of ‘bonus credit’ – namely (a) Air TimeLoyalty Redemption bonus credit, (b) Online Top Up bonus credit, (c) Overseas DiasporaDouble Bubble bonus credit, (d) Digicel 2009 Christmas Deals bonus credit or (e) any
