Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion applies to all Prepaid and Postpaid Customers excludingthose Customers who subscribe to <strong>the</strong> following plans - Postpaid Free Nights &Weekend Calls, VIP Talk, Talk Unlimited Calls, Prepaid Free Nights and Corporate CUG. Inaddition, Special Corporates and WiMAX customers are excluded from th<strong>is</strong> element of<strong>the</strong> Promotion.1<strong>1.</strong> In order to qualify for th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion <strong>the</strong> Customer must make a five (5)minute Chargeable call to a local <strong>Digicel</strong> number charged at <strong>Digicel</strong>’s normal calling rateand <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> Customer will receive <strong>the</strong> next 25 minutes of that same call free. On netcalls made using ‘bonus credit’ free minutes from any o<strong>the</strong>r promotion such as, but notlimited to Double Bubble do not qualify for th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion.12. Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion does not apply when <strong>the</strong> Customer <strong>is</strong> roamingFree After Five On-Net Text Messages16. Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion applies to all Prepaid and Postpaid Customers exceptthose Customers who have a Bulk SMS agreement with <strong>Digicel</strong>.17. In order to qualify for th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion Customers must send five (5)billable text messages within one day during <strong>the</strong> Promotion Period, i.e. between <strong>the</strong>hours of 12:00am to 11:59pm each day.18. If <strong>the</strong> Customer qualifies <strong>the</strong>y will be eligible for 100 free local <strong>Digicel</strong> to local <strong>Digicel</strong>text messages within <strong>the</strong> same 24 hour period of qualification.19. The Free text messages do not roll over to <strong>the</strong> next day.


20. Once <strong>the</strong> Customer has sent 100 free local <strong>Digicel</strong> to local <strong>Digicel</strong> SMS <strong>the</strong> following textmessage will be chargeable at <strong>the</strong> normal rate.2<strong>1.</strong> Customers who are subscribers to VIP Text, Business SMS, VIP Talk & VIP Talk Unlimitedcan still benefit from th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion if <strong>the</strong>y send 5 billable text messagesto persons outside of <strong>the</strong>ir CUG or plan.22. Customers who benefit from Postpaid Free Nights & Weekends can only benefit fromth<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion if <strong>the</strong>y send <strong>the</strong> 5 billable text messages outside of <strong>the</strong>“Free Nights and Weekend”, i.e. if <strong>the</strong>y send 5 billable text messages during <strong>the</strong>weekdays.23. Text messages sent whilst roaming are excluded from th<strong>is</strong> Promotion.24. NB A text message <strong>is</strong> considered as a message that <strong>is</strong> 160 characters or less and <strong>is</strong> billedin blocks of 160 characters.Free Nights25. Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion <strong>is</strong> available to all Prepaid Customers, and Hybrid andDual Account holders.26. Calls included in o<strong>the</strong>r special promotions such as VIP Talk Unlimited, VIP Talk, Friends &Family Night Owl are not eligible for th<strong>is</strong> promotion.27. If a Customer adds J$200 or more credit to <strong>the</strong>ir phone during <strong>the</strong> Day, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong>y will beentitled to Free Nights from <strong>Digicel</strong>.28. For <strong>the</strong> purposes of th<strong>is</strong> promotion, “<strong>the</strong> Day” means between <strong>the</strong> hours of 12:00am to9:00pm.29. To qualify for <strong>the</strong> promotion, a Customer must add credit to <strong>the</strong>ir phone, during <strong>the</strong>Day; credit added must be J$200 or more.30. Customers can only use <strong>the</strong>ir free minutes at Night and <strong>the</strong> free minutes must be used<strong>the</strong> night of <strong>the</strong> day it was earned or <strong>the</strong> Customer will lose <strong>the</strong>m.3<strong>1.</strong> The free minutes will not roll-over to <strong>the</strong> following night.32. Hybrid and Dual Account holders who qualify must dial *949 before <strong>the</strong>y make <strong>the</strong>irfree call o<strong>the</strong>rw<strong>is</strong>e <strong>the</strong> call will be charged at normal rates.33. For <strong>the</strong> purposes of th<strong>is</strong> promotion “Night’ <strong>is</strong> from 11:00pm to 6:00am34. Customers can only use <strong>the</strong>ir free minutes to call o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>Digicel</strong> numbers.35. Customers must make those calls whilst in <strong>Jamaica</strong> as th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotiondoes not apply whilst roaming.36. During <strong>the</strong> promotion period call conferencing will be d<strong>is</strong>abled each night.Gimme Five Million Dollars37. Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion applies to both Prepaid & Postpaid <strong>Digicel</strong> Customersexcept as set out herein.38. Th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion runs from Monday 1 March 2010 until Wednesday 31March 2010 “<strong>the</strong> Promotion Period”.


39. During <strong>the</strong> Promotion Period two types of prizes will be awarded: <strong>the</strong> Daily Prizes and<strong>the</strong> Grand Draw Prizes.40. The Daily Prizes will be awarded to fifty (50) daily winners and each winner will receiveJMD $500 in <strong>Digicel</strong> call credit.4<strong>1.</strong> The Grand Draw Prizes will be awarded to five (5) winners and each winner will receiveJMD $1,000,000 cash prize.42. To be eligible for <strong>the</strong> Promotion, for both <strong>the</strong> Daily Prize and <strong>the</strong> Grand Prize draws,Customers must top up with qualifying credit or accumulate qualifying talk time asfollows (“Qualifying Customers’):a. For Pre-Paid Customers –- Qualifying Customers will receive one (1) entry foreach top up with vouchers valued at JMD$200.00 or more (or cumulative in suchvalue within one 24 hour calendar day) during <strong>the</strong> Promotional Period – eachsuch entry will be valid for both <strong>the</strong> Daily Prize draw and <strong>the</strong> Grand Prize draws;b. For Postpaid Customers – Qualifying Customers will receive one (1) entry forevery twenty (20) minutes of talk time accumulated per calendar day during <strong>the</strong>Promotional Period. Each qualifying entry will be valid in relation to both <strong>the</strong>Daily Prize and Grand Prize draws.43. All Qualifying Customers who qualify and are eligible for participation and entry in <strong>the</strong>Promotion will be notified by SMS of <strong>the</strong>ir qualification entry and shall be entered into<strong>the</strong> applicable Daily Prize draw and applicable Grand Prize draw.44. Pre-paid Customers may top-up using any of <strong>Digicel</strong> <strong>Jamaica</strong>’s recharge methods.45. Credit U does not qualify as a recharge method.46. Postpaid customers will receive one (1) entry for every twenty (20) minutes ofaccumulated talk time.47. Calls by Postpaid customers to <strong>the</strong>ir VIP partner(s) or destinations included in <strong>the</strong>ir‘International Call plans’ are eligible for accumulated talk time.48. <strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> calls, <strong>Digicel</strong> to Fixed Line, <strong>Digicel</strong> to o<strong>the</strong>r Mobile providers and <strong>Digicel</strong>to International numbers qualify for accumulated talk-time for Postpaid subscribers.49. Postpaid customers must have no monies outstanding to <strong>Digicel</strong> for <strong>the</strong>ir entries to bevalid.50. Daily Prizes will be assessed on <strong>the</strong> qualifying entries received during <strong>the</strong> course of eachdaily qualifying period (expiring at 11:59pm each day) during <strong>the</strong> Promotional Period.<strong>Digicel</strong> shall randomly select 100 Qualifying Customers who qualified <strong>the</strong> day before for<strong>the</strong> daily prize draw and from that selection <strong>Digicel</strong> Customer Care shall call suchCustomers on <strong>the</strong> following day and <strong>the</strong> first fifty (50) Customers called who correctlyquote <strong>the</strong> <strong>Digicel</strong> tagline will be determined as <strong>the</strong> winners of such Daily Draw.5<strong>1.</strong> Qualifying Customers who are called must correctly state <strong>the</strong> <strong>Digicel</strong> tagline i.e.:“<strong>Jamaica</strong>’s Bigger Better Network “or “The Bigger Better Network” when contacted inrelation to any of <strong>the</strong> Daily Prize or Grand Prize Draws in order to be eligible to win <strong>the</strong>stated prize.52. Three attempts will be made to contact each Customer that <strong>is</strong> chosen. If <strong>the</strong> call <strong>is</strong>unanswered <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> attempt has failed. Failed attempts include calls where <strong>the</strong> phonerings without an answer, calls that go to <strong>the</strong> voicemail, calls where <strong>the</strong> phone <strong>is</strong> busy or


if <strong>the</strong> phone <strong>is</strong> turned off. If all three (3) attempts fail, <strong>the</strong>n ano<strong>the</strong>r potential winner <strong>is</strong>selected.53. There will be a Daily Prize draws each day of <strong>the</strong> Promotional Period and <strong>the</strong>re will be aGrand Prize draw on April 1st, 201054. Potential Winners of <strong>the</strong> daily prize will be contacted <strong>the</strong> following day except forwinners chosen for Saturday’s draw. These Customers will be contacted on <strong>the</strong> followingMonday.55. Winning customers have up to two (2) weeks after being notified that <strong>the</strong>y have won tocollect <strong>the</strong>ir prizes.56. Postpaid Customers who win one of <strong>the</strong> daily prizes of $500 free credit will have <strong>the</strong>credit applied to <strong>the</strong>ir accounts within three (3) working days.57. Calls to Voicemail, Emergency Numbers, and to <strong>Digicel</strong> Customer Care do not qualify forth<strong>is</strong> Promotion.58. To qualify for <strong>the</strong> Promotion, Customers must make <strong>the</strong>se calls in <strong>Jamaica</strong>.59. The Promotion does not apply whilst roaming.60. Once a Customer meets <strong>the</strong> criteria detailed above, <strong>the</strong> Customer’s details are enteredinto both <strong>the</strong> Daily and Grand Prize draws as may be applicable from which <strong>the</strong> winnersare chosen.6<strong>1.</strong> All winners of cash prizes must present <strong>the</strong> <strong>Digicel</strong> phone and sim card which made <strong>the</strong>qualifying calls, along with valid national photographic identification to claim prizes.62. Minors are eligible for th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion but must be accompanied by aparent or guardian when redeeming <strong>the</strong>ir prize.63. <strong>Digicel</strong> employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies,advert<strong>is</strong>ing, promotion and public relations agencies, dealers, d<strong>is</strong>tributors, or anyoneelse connected with <strong>the</strong> Promotion and <strong>the</strong>ir immediate family members and householdmembers are not eligible for entry to <strong>the</strong> Promotion. For <strong>the</strong>se purposes immediatefamily members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.64. Winners of <strong>the</strong> Promotion will be required to participate in any planned publicity inconnection with th<strong>is</strong> element of <strong>the</strong> Promotion and by entering <strong>the</strong> Promotion, <strong>the</strong> prizewinners consent to <strong>the</strong> use of <strong>the</strong>ir name, likeness, image, photograph for any and allprogramming and/or publicity promotion or advert<strong>is</strong>ing purposes, commercial oro<strong>the</strong>rw<strong>is</strong>e, in all media and formats used by us or our agencies, without fur<strong>the</strong>rcompensation, throughout <strong>the</strong> entire world in perpetuity. All <strong>the</strong> elements of <strong>the</strong> Promotion do not apply whilst <strong>the</strong> Customer <strong>is</strong> roaming, tobenefit from <strong>the</strong> Promotion <strong>the</strong> Customer must be in <strong>Jamaica</strong>.67. <strong>Digicel</strong> reserves <strong>the</strong> right to at any time vary <strong>the</strong> terms and conditions of <strong>the</strong> Promotion,to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw <strong>the</strong> Promotion. In any of <strong>the</strong>seevents notice will be given via media advert<strong>is</strong>ements or messages to subscribers orposted on our website and will be effective immediately or as of <strong>the</strong> date referred to insuch notifications.68. The general Terms and Conditions governing <strong>the</strong> relationship between <strong>Digicel</strong> and<strong>Digicel</strong> FLEX and <strong>Digicel</strong> SELECT subscribers remain applicable.
