COMMUNICATIONEntry-level SectionCounselingClinical psychologists under contract to the <strong>University</strong> can provide a variety <strong>of</strong> services to include peercounseling, crisis intervention, mental health programs, consultative services, assertiveness trainingworkshops, anxiety management seminars, leadership development seminars, and interpersonal skillsbuilding workshops. If you are in need <strong>of</strong> their services, you may contact their <strong>of</strong>fice directly at theaddress below. If a student is referred <strong>for</strong> counseling by the Program Director, the first two (2) visits willbe covered at the <strong>University</strong>’s expense. In<strong>for</strong>mation regarding health insurance policies <strong>for</strong> students isavailable from the <strong>St</strong>udent Services Office. The university does not provide student health insurance.For the Florida campus, Flagler Hospital has a twenty-four hour emergency service. The <strong>University</strong> alsocontracts with a Family Practice physician, Dr. James Connor, to provide non emergency care. Dr.Connor can be reached at (904) 824 8088 <strong>for</strong> an appointment. His <strong>of</strong>fice is located at 1851 Old MoultrieRoad, <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Augustine</strong>. Additionally, there are local walk-in clinics that are equipped to provide emergencyand non-emergency care. The <strong>University</strong> is not licensed to provide health care services.For the Cali<strong>for</strong>nia campus, Emergency service is available at Palomar Medical Center located at 555 E.Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA; Tri-City Medical Center also provides emergency services at 4002 VistaWay, Oceanside, CA 92056.For the Texas campus, please contact Patricia King, DPT Program Director.Duplicating (Florida Campus only)<strong>St</strong>udents may request that the Faculty Office Assistant make copies that will be used <strong>for</strong> studentpresentations on or <strong>of</strong>f campus. Last minute copying requests <strong>for</strong> student presentations may not begranted. To assure you will have your material in time, request copies 24 hours ahead <strong>of</strong> the scheduledpresentation.<strong>St</strong>udent Parking Permit and Parking PolicyCar-pooling is strongly encouraged whenever possible.Entry-level <strong>St</strong>udents: All <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Augustine</strong> students who park on campus must display acurrent, valid parking decal. Each incoming student will be issued a parking decal at new studentregistration. This decal is valid while a student is enrolled at the university. The decal must be used onlyby the student to whom it was issued.
