Seminar coursework (<strong>for</strong>some clinical courses) is extra.Seminar attendance and associated coursework varies by location and length <strong>of</strong> course. Textbooks, travel and lodging <strong>for</strong> seminars are additional.Tuition may be slightly less if credits are transferred from another university. The students must buy theirreading materials from an outside source. An estimated cost <strong>of</strong> textbooks and journals <strong>for</strong> the program is$2,000.00.*If the graduate wishes to purchase custom regalia, the Graduation Fee is $650.00Delivery FormatCourses in the DHSc program are <strong>of</strong>fered in several <strong>for</strong>mats. <strong>St</strong>udents will take part in designing acurriculum that is online, in seminar <strong>for</strong>mat or a combination <strong>of</strong> both. There are two (2) required weekendresidency courses.All fees and tuition payments must be current be<strong>for</strong>e grade reports can be issued and paid in fullbe<strong>for</strong>e the announcement and award <strong>of</strong> the DHSc degree.If at any time you have an unpaid <strong>University</strong> fee or tuition charge <strong>for</strong> two (2) consecutivetrimesters, you are subject to dismissal from the program.Transfer Credits:Transfer <strong>of</strong> graduate credits previously earned from another accredited degree granting institution islimited to a maximum <strong>of</strong> 15% <strong>of</strong> the total number academic credits <strong>for</strong> the degree. See page 16 <strong>for</strong> morein<strong>for</strong>mation.Advanced <strong>St</strong>anding (see pages 16 - 17 <strong>for</strong> more in<strong>for</strong>mation)Graduation FeeGraduation fee is based on your choice <strong>of</strong> graduation gown. If you choose the custom gown with darkblue velvet trim (<strong>for</strong> education), the current fee as <strong>of</strong> this printing is $650.00. Should you choose thestandard gown (worn by DPT/OTD graduates) the current fee is $150.00. Prices may be subject tochange.Re-Instatement Fee<strong>St</strong>udents that voluntarily withdraw from the DHSc program in good standing, may be reinstated into theprogram <strong>for</strong> a fee <strong>of</strong> $50.00. These individuals would be permitted to by-pass the application process if itwere no more than two (2) years since withdrawal from the program. Any student seeking re-acceptanceafter the two (2) year period would need to follow the normal application process.Time LimitIt is required that students complete all degree requirements within five (5) years. An extension <strong>of</strong> up toone (1) year may be requested.
