AImaging System of Imager5003 ofZoller+FröhlichFigure A.l shows schematically the principle of the imaging system of the laser scanner adapted from[Fröhlich et al., 2000]. The spot laser system in the lower part consists of a laser head, receiver optics, andan avalanche photodiode (APD). The receiver optics cause that the reflected laser lightis focussed towardsthe APD.
