<strong>MAINTENANCE</strong> <strong>ENGINEER</strong>SUMMARY OF JOB:To provide overall technical support relating to Engineer aspects of civil, public, health andelectrical to the district incharge for maintenance and upgradation of the works relating toinfrastructures development of the district maintain all records and reports relevant of the techicalaspects of the programme.QUALIFICATION:3 years diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering or BE in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from recognizedinstitutes.EXPERIENCE:Minimum 1 year of experience with BE in Civil/ Electrical and Minimum 3 years of experiencewith Diploma in Civil/ ElectricalAGE:18-35 years. Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories as per theinstructions of the State Government.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: To maintain record relating to Engineering aspects of all the Health Institutions in therespective districts. To visit Health Institutions periodically to assess and get done preventive maintenanceworks of the institutions. To attend emergency maintenance calls received from district hospital/ sub divisionalhospitals/ block level institutions and other institutions falling in the respective districts. To prepare estimates of the repair works (preventive/ special) alongwith estimates for thenew works relating to upgradation/ extensions. To initiate the process for engagement of contractors for the repair works. To evaluate the proposal/ bills received from various contractors for different works. To get implemented the works To prepare the bills and facilitate the payments. To ensure the quality of the works to be carried. Any other duty assigned from time to time by Engineer-in-charge.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS DESIRABLE: Basic skills in supervision of works, making record entries and preparation of estimatesfor repairs and new works. Basic knowledge about CSR, PWD code and accountsSALARY:Maximum consolidated salary upto Rs. 15,000/- per month
