If your application requirescoaxial contacts, select contact types "A"or "B" (pin or socket) in the connectorpart number. The connector will besupplied without contacts. Selectthe appropriate coaxial or pneumaticcontact from this catalog.Mighty Mouse contacts conform tothe requirements of Aerospace StandardAS39029. This SAE specification definesthe design, dimensions and performanceof contacts used in aerospace gradeelectrical connectors. The “generalspecification” covers a variety of contactsincluding thermocouple, hermetic, coaxialand triaxial types. The "slash sheets" contain dimensionsand other information for specific typesof contacts. Each contact is assigned aBasic Identification Number (BIN), a nonsignificantthree digit code correspondingto the color code on the contacts.A Qualified Products List (QPL) identifiesthose manufacturers whose products havebeen verified to meet all requirements.Series 80 Size #23 and size #20HD contactsconform to AS39029 requirements, but arenot covered by a slash sheet. Military Specification MIL-DTL-22520 provides the aerospace/defenseindustry with a common set of rugged, reliable hand crimp tools. This specificationcontrols the voltage drop and tensilestrength of crimp terminations. Before ordering, check to see if you mightalready have these tools! We have listedthe military part number and the Danielspart number. Daniels ManufacturingCorporation is the leading manufacturer ofthese tools. However, size #23 and #20HDcontacts require special positioners uniqueto the Mighty Mouse product line. It's aSnap!Tip: Use the Tool Code to Find The Right Crimp ToolFind the contact part number in thecatalog. Note the tool codes in the rightcolumn. These tool codes identify thecrimp tools required to terminate thecontact.
