Dr. Goldsmith is recommendedfor appointment as "acting 'chair.-"Dr. Grider Penick- has asked. that he -be relieved.<strong>of</strong> the-chairmanship <strong>of</strong> theDepartment <strong>of</strong> Gynecology effective July 18. Dean Everett recommends thatDr. J. W. Kelso, at present vice-chairman, be named acting chairman for theDepartment <strong>of</strong> Gynecology until June 30, 1950.Approved.
